Midgie is a 1980 MGB GT that came into my hands at the end of 2005. During the intervening years she had covered less than 12,000 miles and had been kept pretty much original. The only changes to standard specification had been made by the dealer on delivery, when she had a sunroof, ServoGlide electric windows and Ziebart Rustproofing. You can find out more in her history.

By and large, I wanted to keep Midgie original. However, I am not interested in concours levels of devotion, and made a few changes to increase my enjoyment of her. I keep a diary of life with my MGs, and the servicing and other work I have carried out. In particular though, these are the things I have done that have changed her from her original condition:
And now? Well, after just over 3 years in my care, she has moved on.
